SARDA Ireland Callout 28.09.23
This morning at approximately 09:55 Sarda Ireland were tasked by An Garda Síochána to assist in the search for a missing person near the Cliffs of Moher.
Angela Houlihan and Sly joined the search this morning.
They were subsequently stood down from the search due to weather and safety conditions.
We will try and keep you posted as to what we are up to. Being very busy volunteers, many with day jobs, we have little spare time so please bear with us.
NSARDA is a charity-based Association representing Member Associations
The purpose of NSARDA is to:
- Promote on a National level the charitable work of the Member Search and Rescue Dog Associations of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
- Promote the development of Search Dogs, Dog Handlers and Dog Supports / Navigators to locate high risk missing persons;
- Support handlers to achieve a greater understanding of training of Search Dogs.
