Often not dog owners, may have a search dog in training, retired dog, or formerly be a qualified handler. Highly qualified people with an extensive skill set to support the dog handler. Also members of a search & rescue team or similar organisation.
People willing to help us train and make a difference. They help us by hiding for the dogs in all terrains and weathers, day or night, for many hours at a time. The training of a search dog cannot happen without these amazing unsung heroes.
Our other heroes are the people hidden in the background working very hard to help make it all happen in so many ways. They often help with organising, logistics, equipment, training, fundraising, cooking and so much more.
