NSARDA is an umbrella organisation for Search Dogs in the UK, Isle of Man and Eire.

Lights, Camera, Splash 💦 Yesterday, NSARDA Water Search Dog Buzz & trainee dogs Otto and Scout swapped their usual training sessions for a day in front of the cameras while filming with Matt Baker for an upcoming programme but we can t say any more - YET ! Watch this space. Set in beautiful Buckinghamshire, the dogs and their handlers demonstrated the different stages of water search dog training, from eager beginners to more advanced search work. A huge thank you to Great Moor Sailing Club for hosting us and supporting the day. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished programme when it airs. Last weekend saw our Water Lead Trainer/Asssessor Dave Marsh, attend a Water Search Dog training session based at Great Moor Sailing Club, Buckinghamshire. Accompanying Dave was retired WSD Sasha [nearing 16 yrs old]. Trainee handlers from Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Severn Area Rescue Association were building on previous sessions which included a bark alert indication, the use of topography and weather conditions to favour area searching and the very first ride in a boat using a favourable offshore breeze. The next training venue for the Southern section will be near Bristol.Meanwhile, some members from our Northern section, will be supporting the Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association over at Hassiness Crag Wood Buttermere on 6th June in what is advertised as festival of Search and Rescue. ...
