Search dog Cailaeg retires
As 2023 draws to an end we would like to wish search dog Cailaeg a very happy retirement
Cailaeg has deployed to many call-outs for Scottish Mountain Rescue teams, Police Scotland and her parent team Arran Mountain Rescue Team.
Cailaeg will still enjoy mountain runs with her handler Kirstie Smith but also snoozes on the sofa.
A well deserved paws up 🐾
We will try and keep you posted as to what we are up to. Being very busy volunteers, many with day jobs, we have little spare time so please bear with us.
NSARDA is a charity-based Association representing Member Associations
The purpose of NSARDA is to:
- Promote on a National level the charitable work of the Member Search and Rescue Dog Associations of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
- Promote the development of Search Dogs, Dog Handlers and Dog Supports / Navigators to locate high risk missing persons;
- Support handlers to achieve a greater understanding of training of Search Dogs.
