The National Search And Rescue Dog Association [NSARDA] has a number of Member Associations located across England, Wales, Scotland, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man as well as the Isle of Wight.
This CIO Charity No. 1161859 is run by a small group of Trustees, most of whom are members of one of our Member Associations as well as operational members of Lowland or Mountain Search & Rescue teams.
Trustees may also be Search Dog Handlers, National Assessors, Search Managers, Team Leaders, Medical First Responders, Drone Pilots, Sonar Operators and so on.
Every Trustee and National Representative is a volunteer, providing their services completely free of charge. There are no salaries received by any NSARDA Trustee or Volunteer.

NSARDA is a charity-based Association representing Member Associations
The purpose of NSARDA is to:
Promote on a National level the charitable work of the Member Search and Rescue Dog Associations of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
Promote the development of Search Dogs, Dog Handlers and Dog Supports / Navigators to locate high risk missing persons;
Support handlers to achieve a greater understanding of training of Search Dogs.
