About Us

NSARDA Suffolk train and qualify dogs and their handlers to be able to find High Risk Vulnerable Missing People.

NSARDA Suffolk has a number of different breeds of dog qualified and in training for the disciplines of Air Scenting (non-descriminating & descriminating) and Trailing.

They work alongside and with Suffolk Lowland Search & Rescue, who are always on call and ready to be deployed by Suffolk Constabulary 24 hours a day.

NSARDA Suffolk provide this service completely free of charge, as do all of the Member Associations.

NSARDA is a charity-based Association representing Member Associations

The purpose of NSARDA is to:

Promote on a National level the charitable work of the Member Search and Rescue Dog Associations of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
Promote the development of Search Dogs, Dog Handlers and Dog Supports / Navigators to locate high risk missing persons;
Support handlers to achieve a greater understanding of training of Search Dogs.
