SARDA South Wales covers the South of Wales and overlaps towards the North with areas covered by SARDA Wales. From a map perspective roughly up to a line between Aberystwyth and Birmingham.
This Member Association works with and supports various Mountain Rescue Teams in this area, who deploy them at the request of South Wales Police to search for and Rescue High Risk Vulnerable Missing Persons.
Every member is a volunteer and they provide this service to their community completely free of charge.
Their members are always on call and ready to be deployed by South Wales Police24 hours a day.
SARDA South Wales provide this service completely free of charge, as do all of the Member Associations.

NSARDA is a charity-based Association representing Member Associations
The purpose of NSARDA is to:
Promote on a National level the charitable work of the Member Search and Rescue Dog Associations of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
Promote the development of Search Dogs, Dog Handlers and Dog Supports / Navigators to locate high risk missing persons;
Support handlers to achieve a greater understanding of training of Search Dogs.
