About Us

SARDA South Wales train and qualify dogs and their handlers to be able to find High Risk Vulnerable Missing People.

SARDA South Wales has a number of different breeds of dog qualified and in training for the disciplines of Air Scenting (Mountain).

Their members are always on call and ready to be deployed by South Wales Police 24 hours a day.

SARDA South Wales provide this service completely free of charge, as do all of the Member Associations.

Promote on a National level the charitable work of the Member Search and Rescue Dog Associations of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
Promote the development of Search Dogs, Dog Handlers and Dog Supports / Navigators to locate high risk missing persons;
Support handlers to achieve a greater understanding of training of Search Dogs.
