My Story...
My Training...
Venn is 4 ½ at the time of writing this and a Show-Cocker Spaniel / Border Collie cross.
She is training to become a Scent-specific trailing dog and we are currently getting ready for novice grade assessment.
When she qualifies we will deploy with Aberdyfi Search & Rescue Team.
She loves search games, swimming, singing along to sirens, bells and trumpets.
However her dislikes include doing anything in an accepted way, such as haircuts, going slow uphill and so on.
Venn has a distinguishing feature that being a Hercule Poirot moustache.

NSARDA is a charity-based Association representing Member Associations
The purpose of NSARDA is to:
- Promote on a National level the charitable work of the Member Search and Rescue Dog Associations of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
- Promote the development of Search Dogs, Dog Handlers and Dog Supports / Navigators to locate high risk missing persons;
- Support handlers to achieve a greater understanding of training of Search Dogs.
