About Us

SARDA Isle of Man train and qualify dogs and their handlers to be able to find High Risk Vulnerable Missing People.

SARDA Ise of Man has a number of different breeds of dog qualified and in training for the disciplines of Air Scenting and Trailing.

They work with Isle of Man Civil Defence Corps who are always on call and ready to be deployed by The Isle of Man Constabulary 24 hours a day.

SARDA Isle of Man provide this service completely free of charge, as do all of the Member Associations.

NSARDA is a charity-based Association representing Member Associations

The purpose of NSARDA is to:

Promote on a National level the charitable work of the Member Search and Rescue Dog Associations of the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
Promote the development of Search Dogs, Dog Handlers and Dog Supports / Navigators to locate high risk missing persons;
Support handlers to achieve a greater understanding of training of Search Dogs.
